After a lovely few days in Ocean City for Thanksgiving break, we are homeward bound. It always feels good to head home after time away but I continue to find myself in a constant state of disbelief over how fast things come and go.
I’d been anticipating Thanksgiving for weeks – a long break from work, lazy days with family, tons of home cooked food (thanks, Sandi!), dogs on the beach – and all of a sudden it’s over and we’re on our way home. Now we’re plotting Christmas and how we’ll decorate the house. And in between now and Christmas, we’re doing a little thing called getting married.
The dance of life.
Just when Act 1 ends, you’re given enough time to catch you’re breath, take a swig of water, and then the orchestra music cues the start of Act 2.
